Who I really am:
I'm the type of girl that would rather have your company than get a gift. I absolutely love people. Though, sometimes trusting them is extremely hard for me. People are so interesting and I tend to get along with the majority of them. There are those rare few though, that just don't believe that it's possible someone can have genuine kindness. I'm not saying that I can't be mean, because trust me, I can. Mostly, I try not to be. Things just go a whole lot smoother when there isn't any confrentation or misunderstanding. Unfortunately, the world doesn't go with my flow, so I just keep pushing through, hoping I'll meet someone just as willing as I am to enjoy the life we have.
That whole first bit makes me sound like a saint. Ha. I am far from it. I am a nice person, but I have my moments too. Don't we all? Haha. Most of the time I allow bad things to get the best of me. I'm a pretty sensitive person. I don't mean to be. That's just the way it has always been. Little by little I think I'm growing a tougher skin.
I’ve been living a pretty crazy life lately. I guess you could say I’ve filled some holes with the wrong things. I’ve gone so far astray that I don’t even know how I got to this point.
But that's just it is isn't it? We take paths that we shouldn't and end up in a foreign land. At least we have enough understanding to realize it and want to change. I want to change. I want to grow, and rise above all the frustration and hopelessness. Some days I feel great and have so much energy to put into my life. Then there are other days when I don't feel like it's worth it. One day at a time. That's all I can ever expect or ask for.

A few other things about me:

~ I'm a very impressionable person when it comes to people. I catch on to what people say, do, and think very quickly.

~ I love to learn about others. I like how the mind works. Every little thing a person does has a meaning. Try sitting in a room full of people and glancing around for a while. Watch what they do. How they talk, the way their eyes look. If they stand still or move around. How they use their hands. If they mingle or keep soley to a specific group. Listen to their laughter. Watch how they stand. You can learn a lot about a person with out ever speaking to them. Observing is a very good way to get to know someone.

~ I'm lazy.

~I'm not a passive person, EVER. It may look like it on the outside, but trust me, I'm brewing on the inside.

~ I like to EAT. I don't think there's much of anything I won't eat. The only three things I've come across is: brussels sprouts, cooked spinach, and squid. You put enough cheese or spices or fry it right, or mix it in a salad or soup well enough and I'll eat it.

~ I like the Zodiac. (Ties into my "people reading" deal.)

~ I analyze things to absolute death. I never do something without thinking it through several times.

~ interesting fact: I have a condintion called Nystagmus. It's the involuntary movement of the eye.

~ I'm single. I have to learn that this is a part of my life right now. There's nothing wrong with doing what's best for yourself. [=

What I'm into:
I love to write. I'm the type that likes to delve into fantasy and just disappear for a while.

Music-creating, listening,and sharing, ice hockey of any league and country, reading-The Bible,fiction novels, etc., writing-fan fics, short stories, poetry, plays, etc., encountering new people, understanding opinions and ideas of the world, travel, and culture-including food, language, customs, clothing, religion, etc., and The Holocaust.

Just throwin' him in everywhere. What the hell. hehe

That's just one of my other favorites.
I like mostly alternative-especially the '90's up to now and Christian radio-Power 88.3! I like some country thanks to an awesome friend turning me on to it. Also miscellaneous hits station stuff. Not big on techo, dance, house, electronica, gangsta rap, or classical.

who i'd like to meet:
Anyone who's willing to give me the time of day and is real with who they are. People my age, people from all over who share my love of Linkin Park. I wouldn't mind meeting Linkin Park either. This guy-he's pretty bad-ass:
